At the last Parish Council Meeting, Lily Volans, our Parish Clerk for the last 28 years, told us that she wished to retire in March. This, of course, leaves a huge void in the Council which we need to fill.
We are therefore looking for someone to take over this vital job. If there is anyone in the village or you know of someone who is interested, could you please get in touch with me or Ian Alexander.
This is a paid post at the centre of village affairs and you would be responsible for administrating the Parish Council meetings, doing the minutes and correspondence, (increasingly by email) and doing the Parish accounts.
