One Response to “Dry Drayton Parish Council. Report on the May meeting”

  1. Mike Roberts Says:

I am not a Dry Drayton resident, but live in Caldecote. However, I regularly use the footpath from the footbridge near Hardwick that goes over the dual carriageway to Dry Drayton for jogging.

I recently found that the ploughing of the fields that must have taken place in the last couple of weeks included ploughing up much of the width of what previously formed part of the footpath, which is consequently now much narrower. For much of the length of the path the onloy unploughed ground is very uneven. As a result, I am no longer able to use the footpath for jogging.

I am drawing this to the Parish Council’s attention, although I don’t know whether there is a minimum path width that is supposed to be left and, if so, whether that minimum has been breached.

    Thanks.

    Mike Roberts
